Hi, I’m iason, it’s greek for Jason. I have a major in photography and it has been my lifelong companion. I do not prefer one over the other, film and digital that is. Love the restriction of the first and the freedom of the latter.

I’m the co-founder of Mohxa Clothing, our locally made and sourced clothing brand. Our idea in 2014 was to find whatever cool vintage fabric we could find and make new shirts with it, we still do that to this day, and I still photograph them.

My background is nerdy sporty. Avid fan of surfing, it’s culture, it’s practice and the surfboard manufacturing process. My personal athletic performance highlight though would be on ice hockey, where I’m an assistant coach, help design and organise the only hockey league in Greece right now and was a proud member of the 2008-2013 National hockey team. We’ve won silverware wearing white and blue.

After concluding my photography studies in the UK I travelled and ended up living in São Paulo for a good 3 years+ working on the fashion industry, fashion weeks, backstage, editorials until… I went back to Greece.

Directing, as a good jack of all trades, I have the most fun. The hockey team spirit, technical understanding of the shot and multilingual communication ability allows for the talent to feel free to "surf” -express themselves truthfully for the purposes of the video.

I also love music, was in a band, playing the drums, we’re on Spotify :P
